OHFA Releases First QAP Draft
Last week, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) released its first draft of the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) which outlines the scoring criteria used when determining the 9% low-income housing tax credit awards. Notably, the QAP draft eliminated language that would award points based on CORES certification (Certified Organization for Resident Engagement and Services), which had been included for the first time in the 2024-2025 QAP. LeadingAge Ohio is continuing to review the QAP as it prepares comments on the initial draft. A second draft is anticipated on September 15, which will also offer a public comment period.
Comments on the QAP may be directed to Tiffany Bukoffsky at tbukoffsky@leadingageohio.org or Susan Wallace at swallace@leadingageohio.org.
